Every SUMI tee is made to order — printed and sewn only after you place an order, then dispatched from the production partner closest to your delivery address. This keeps waste close to zero, and the timeline below reflects both the production and the carrier handover.

Production

Items typically enter production within 24 hours of order confirmation and ship in 2–7 business days. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays start production the next business day. Limited or oversold drops may take longer — if so, we will notify you by email within 48 hours.

Delivery times

Times below are after production and exclude customs clearance. They are estimates, not guarantees.

  • United States — 4–8 business days (standard), 2–4 business days (expedited where available)
  • European Union — 4–8 business days from regional fulfilment
  • United Kingdom — 5–10 business days
  • Canada / Australia / New Zealand — 7–14 business days
  • Rest of world — 10–30 business days

Shipping costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your destination, the number of items in your order, and the carrier service available for your region. The total — including any applicable taxes — is shown before you confirm payment. We do not add handling fees on top of the carrier rate.

Tracking

Once your order leaves the production facility, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to the carrier’s tracking page. Please allow up to 48 hours after dispatch for the first scan to appear. If no tracking event has been recorded after 5 business days, contact us and we will open a trace with the carrier.

Customs, duties & taxes

European Union, United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland: where the parcel is fulfilled outside your country, import VAT and any applicable customs duty are the responsibility of the recipient. Carriers may collect these on delivery. For low-value consignments (e.g. EU IOSS thresholds, UK £135), VAT may be collected at checkout where required by law and shown on your invoice.

United States: orders are usually fulfilled domestically, so no import duties apply. Sales tax is collected at checkout where we have a registered nexus.

All other countries: any customs duties, import VAT, handling charges or local taxes are determined by the destination country and are payable by the recipient. We declare the order at the price actually paid; we do not mark parcels as gifts or undervalue contents.

Address accuracy

Please double-check the shipping address before confirming your order. Once production has begun we cannot reroute the parcel. If a parcel is returned to sender because of an incorrect address, missed delivery, or unpaid customs charges, we will reach out about a redelivery — the additional postage will be at your expense, and any duties already paid by us will be deducted from a refund.

Delays & lost parcels

Carrier delays caused by weather, customs inspections, or force-majeure events are outside our control and do not by themselves constitute a defect. A parcel is considered lost when the carrier has shown no movement for the periods below:

  • Domestic (US, EU, UK): 15 business days from dispatch
  • International: 30 business days from dispatch
